Nature in jewells is a project about adapting nature into jewellery. I collected real plants, flowers and other nature materials to research their shapes and textures and making little simple sketches to study them.
I eventually made 2 rings made out of wax which are moulds for possible future silver rings. these two are inspired by the things I found.
I also crafted a metal ring, which I cut, formed, and soldered myself. The next step was to make another ring but with a stone. I chose to make a little shell, which I carved out of wax , then made a mold and poured aluminum in.
My 3rd item is a pendant. I chose to keep a simple design and used the Japanese word ' 空 'which means sky and created a shape out of it.
